Erosive Esophagitis
The usual dose of Pantoprazole Sodium (Generic Protonix) is 20 milligrams once a day for up to 8 weeks. If your esophagus has not healed in that time, your doctor may prescribe an additional 8-week course of therapy. The same dose is used or it may be increased to 40 milligrams to maintain healing.
